  • Updated 4/11/17: I was getting ready to sell my FJ and went to Big Two to get their advice. They were super helpful. The salesman sat down with me for over 30 minutes and gave me several tips on how to successfully sell the vehicle and points to consider being a single woman selling a car over the Internet. He completely changed my view of a car dealership. Thank you Big Two! Original post: I took my FJ in for service. The battery they replaced last year was dead and needed to be replaced under the warranty. I also needed an alignment. They never told me when I bought the FJ that it had special tires - which means they can't do the alignment. Now I have to take it somewhere else to get the alignment - so I knocked a star off for that (and it should probably be more like 2 but I like them). Then when I picked up the car, they didn't rinse it off; they left all of the tools to the tires out in the back; and apparently since the battery was dead they left it running after I dropped it off for god knows how long because there was no gas left. I had to drive straight to a gas station. They lost another point for their sloppy work. I called and they told me to bring it back but this has been a 2-day ordeal. I dropped it off the day before and found out there was a safety recall so they needed to keep it overnight cuz that was a 4-hour repair by itself. What really annoys me is all of the waiting. I drive in and have to wait 30 minutes for them to do paperwork just to check the car in. Then I waited an hour for a ride home. Then several hours later they called and said they needed to keep it over night. The next day at 3:00 they call me and say it'll be ready. I ask for the shuttle driver to pick me up. I wait nearly an hour for him to call me, 30 minutes to pick me up. Then I wait at the dealership for 30 minutes for them to finish my paperwork, then I wait for them to drive the car up and when I leave I'm out of gas and crap is rolling around in the back. You have to take a day off work for car maintenance...it's ridiculous. Too much waiting and too sloppy.
