  • Hotel was excellent. Pancakes at the restaurant was wonderful. No additional fees for pets. Free snacks, etc. My only issue was at check in "Kathleen"(the lady that was checking me in) she gave me a ridiculously hard time. She was racist. At 11:15am I went to check in after a long drive from Vegas to Phoenix. She told me to come back at 3pm or pay $20 extra for an executive suite. I came back at 12:15 and she was checking a Caucasian person in. I went back to her to check me in and she told me I had to pay an extra $20 to get checked in early and $20 extra for double beds. I told her my reservation said one king or two doubles whichever is available. So I saw mike come to the counter so I just left her and told her I'm gonna let Mike check me in because you are racist. So I went to Mike and he checked me right in immediately with no extra fees. Besides her my stay was excellent. But people of color if you go here and see her please save yourself some stress and trouble and go to someone else. But again my stay was excellent after I overlook Kathleen's foolishness. The hotel compensated me for Kathleen's foolishness once Lauren saw I had an issue with Kathleen that's why I can still give 5 stars. Jesper, Lauren and Mike were the best. Steer clear of Kathleen!!! Another concern is everyone had a name badge on except Kathleen. I had to ask her name from another worker. What's up with that???
