| - This was the second time we had lunch in this joint. First time I had the crispy shredded beef and the woman had a Cuban sandwich. Both were pretty good along with some tostones and plantains. Crispy beef was a bit oily but I ate every bite of it. This time I had the garlic shrimp and tostones and boiled yucca and the gal had some skirt steak with rice and beans and a couple plantains again. Skirt steak was ordered well done and was a little chewy which is expected cooked well but did taste good. The garlic shrimp was decent some where cooked better than others, I like my shrimp cooked longer, more well done, a couple were that way and a few were softer, not as good. Yucca was perfectly cooked and tostones, well, it's hard to mess up a tostones, so it was good as well. Service was good, waiter was very attentive, didn't have to look for him for anything. Food was out in good time, place was busy for a lunch crowd. I will have to try it one night for dinner, looks like the drinks are worth trying as well. Adios for now.
