  • Every bar in the city should have a mascot! I have never been to the other Bulldog location, so I can't speak to comparisons, but I really liked the layout of this Southend one! Came here with a few friends this past weekend. Half the place was bottled beers that you could take home and the other half was a big bar with a very decent beer selection. I noticed that they also had Prosecco and Mimosas for the non-beer lovers. The center back is the bulldog cage area, where we spent a little time petting an adorable dog! We all grabbed some beers and took to the outdoor area. Seemed like the beer selection was a good mix of local Charlotte breweries and then other nearby ones. I ended up with a Banana Bread Pilsner, that was super delish! There is a bar railing with stools, which is a nice way to look out on Southend (or all the people leaving Yoga, your call!). Additionally they had tables and chairs outside and inside. Cool new addition to Southend that I cant wait to enjoy in the warmer months to come
