  • A friend of a friend recommended we contact D&D for our move. We called, and Derek, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate for "packing" us and the move itself. Surprisingly, it cost more to pack us than the actual move (We were moving about 25 miles away). One thing impressed me with the estimate is he promised the final cost would not be more than that estimate, but could be less. The packing took a day and the actual move took the next day. The guys were all polite, professional and seemed to care about our concerns. I feel they went above and beyond. 1) They offered to change the left hand opening of our freezer to right hand to allow it to fit better in the new place. 2) We wanted to swap refrigerators from the "new" house with the "old" house. We called them the day before packing day and they obliged. 3) they disconnected/ hooked back up 2 refrigerators w/water lines along with the washer and dryer. To me, doing these things helped make a stressful day more manageable. The move went well. They put things exactly, and carefully, where we asked. No issues and, when we got the final itemized bill, it was $150 LESS then the estimate!
