  • Something about this store makes me want to throw knives. Like, it is ALWAYS packed ALWAYS. And even if its not packed, someone is magically going to have their shopping cart right in front of the item that you need. The produce is not good, you really have to watch out for mold and dents at this Giant Eagle. You have to keep in mind that this is likely the smallest Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. I was looking for chipotle peppers and they didn't carry them. They also didn't have brie. Yes, I know I've got a first world kind of shopping list, but I didn't think these items were too fancy. However, I go here bc it is right by my house. And the staff is really helpful and courteous. For example, I've got a hankering for their raspberry chipotle marinated salmon. If you call them ahead of time, even if they dont have the marinated salmon out, they'll make you some. So that's cool. And this Giant Eagle is clean.
