My husband loved the show as I felt indifferent about it. In Seattle we have a dinner show called Theatre Zinzanni, which is very similar to Absinthe in that it takes place in a tent and has very similar performances. It is also just as comedic. The only major difference are that you get a full dinner with Theatre Zinzanni, while you don't at Absinthe. (Ticket prices are in the same range). The jokes in Absinthe are more adult appropriate. There is a lot of sexual innuendos. I think a lot of people are caught off guard by the jokes and therefore left with a memorable impression. There are certainly a lot of beautiful bodies in the show. The performances were impressive, but it was the usual stuff I've seen before. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same performers. The main thing that sets this show apart is the adult jokes.
