| - *Update* DO NOT TRUST this company. Stay away! You think the 4 star reviews reflect the company, but seriously, scroll through and see how many times people have had to change their 1 star review only after the owner owned up to their mistakes. The owner, Michael, came by the 3rd visit & had the nerve to say the second visit caused another part to break down. It's very obvious that this company's years of experience does not reflect any professionalism or expertise. After the third visit, things are working...for now. I hope it doesn't break down after a month.
---------------------------------------------
First off, VERY excessive charging for parts. The other reviews were correct. My fridge needed a Heater Harness Defrost Assembly that cost about $20. What did this company charge me for this part? $98!! Almost 5 times the price! Oh and this is including a "discount" that my technician gave me for that part. Incredibly ridiculous.
Secondly, this was the second time this company came out to fix my fridge. The first time, they charged me $354 (tax, $150 for labor, $188 for a main control board part, which was also overpriced). But in less than a month, the fridge broke down again! We had also noticed that the fridge side was not as cold as normally, but didn't think it was a big problem until the cold air stopped flowing through. If the technician had THOROUGHLY inspected the fridge the first time, he would have noticed the frosting problem. But no, it was overlooked. Now we have to fix the second issue with another labor charge of $140! In total, I've spent $600+ to fix this fridge, which is half of a new fridge! At this point, I should've bought a new fridge. Granted, the technician Martin was very polite and nice, but he wasn't experienced enough and overlooked an underlying problem.
Overall, I am not pleased with this company. Not only are the parts highly overcharged, the technician also didn't thoroughly inspect the appliance before diving into, which in my case, was just a temporary fix until the second visit. Technicians should take pride in their work by not only focusing on the big picture, but also the small details. Had that been done initially, I wouldn't have had to waste my money.
