  • What a great hotel. My wife found and booked this place through Expedia on a whim. While we got lucky, since you are reading this, stop and go book your stay now! Now that you have booked your stay, get ready for a beautiful boutique hotel. Located in Old Montreal, it's about a block away from the Notre Dame Basilica and a couple blocks from the water. It's an old building, but our room was large and tastefully updated. The beds comfortable, an Espresso Maker in the room, along with a mini fridge and single hob stove. While there are plenty of great restaurants around, The Sinclair is located in the lobby. We ate off the 'bar menu' one evening and the food was delicious. While I loved the location, the building and the furnishings, the service put this place over the top. First off, everyone we dealt with was very helpful and very friendly. The icing on the cake here though was during check in. Our original check in date had to be delayed due to Winter Storm Stella. Flights were cancelled and we did not arrive until the following day. Without us asking, the gentleman who checked us in indicated that he would be reaching out to Expedia on our behalf to ensure we were not charged for the previous nights stay. Who does that anymore?!?!? What a great place!
