  • It pains me not to give this place a 5-star review. If it were based on food alone, Salud is easily 5+. In a city where the french fry is considered a standard topping (no complaints there!) it's refreshing to visit a spot where everything is healthy and delicious. I am a huge fan of the PB Bowl, and I'll grab an occasional health shot when I'm not feeling my best. Before my latest visit, I'd only pop in for to-go items. Today, I went in with my laptop, hoping to start my morning right with a PB Bowl and some work. When I sat down after ordering, I was shocked and disappointed that most of the chairs and stools are broken (my bottom fell through the upholstery on one), and nearly every surface is dirty or sticky. My laptop made an audible squelch from the adhesive surface when I lifted it from the table. I know Salud is a small place, and most business is to-go orders, but at a joint where a non-alcoholic health beverge can cost $8+, I expect more from the decor and cleaniless. Such a bummer, and I hope Salud can sort out the mess in the seating area. I'd love to make this spot a regular hang rather instead of grabbing everything to go. :(
