I love, love, love the Bridle Trail at Rocky River Reservation. It gives me my nature fix, (which keeps me sane), and is great exercise as well. I start at Mastick, walk all the way to the Nature Center, (roughly 3 miles), and come back. Don't be put off by crowded picnic area on the weekends. The trail is never crowded. Lots of dog owners and people who want some nature and private time. I've seen plenty of deer and even an eagle a time or two. At dusk you might just spot an owl. Keep track of sunset though... you don't want to get caught in The woods when it gets dark...because it's really, really dark! Always let someone know where and when you are going. Just good safety habits.
