| - A friend recommended this place to me, and being that I am not a manicure kind of girl I took her word for it. I'm definitely glad I did.
I've had my fair share of "meh" mani/pedi experiences and therefore have settled with doing my own nails at home. However, recently I've had a weird nail growth spurt and figured I should try to take advantage of the situation.
My nails have always been very flexible and brittle so I'm hesitant to get gel, knowing that it exacerbates that issue. At Lacquer Me Up they offer gel and their new "dip", which is similar to gel but instead of damaging the nail, it strengthens it over time. For only $5 more, I was IN.
First of all, the process is super fun to watch. If you don't know what it is, like me, google it, because the videos are mesmerizing. They pain a clear coat on your nail, then dip your nail into a fine colored powder.they repeat this process multiple times until your manicure is complete. It allows for a super even nail color and smooth finish. I loved everything about it. (I probably went into way too much detail about this, and for that I'm sorry.)
The employees are so friendly and treat you like a friend. They did an amazing job on my nails and you can tell they genuinely care about your experience.
And if none of that sold you on the place, they have alcohol. LACQUER me up... get it? I'm always in if there's a pun involved and you should be too.
