  • I am a big fan of Cactus Candy.... and it is the perfect gift for friends and family after one of my requisite trips to Arizona. Never mind the fact that it will not melt in 100+ degree heat, it is so tasty, too! I can't think of a better souvenir than cactus candy made from the fruit of the prickly pear cactus. While you can buy the cactus candy at various souvenir shops within Sky Harbor airport, it is worth the trouble of stopping by the original store if you have the chance. The half pound boxes make wonderful gifts, but there are also little 99 cent samplers, too, available at the store on 24th Street. Lastly, the shop owner gave me an additional discount for paying in cash.
