  • I was visiting friends in AZ that boarded their dog at Bow Wow. I have a dog myself and have always been skeptical of doggy day care. We went there to pick up her dog and I was totally impressed with Bow Wow! The staff was friendly and welcomed us in. We were able to walk back into the rooms where the dogs are kept. It was very clean and the dogs all seemed comfortable and happy. They have a large indoor playroom, as well as three outside areas. There were about four dogs playing when we were there - they were loving it. The most impressive quality of Bow Wow is that the staff (and owner) TRULY love the dogs - constant hugging, kissing, loving and petting...it was so impressed and touched. It makes a difference to know that your pet is going to be smooched and loved when you're away. They even have a room where the dogs can sleep in bed with the staff...how cute! It's not the fanciest place...not one of those boutique dog hotels, but your dog will be loved like he/she is at home (maybe even more so!). My friend has been taking her dog here since she as a puppy (3 yrs) and she swears by them.
