I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I grew up on Italian food.. so for me to find a good Italian restaurant nearby is always a gold mine to me. The food is good and that's really the only reason I keep giving them chance after chance. I haven't tried everything, but one of my favorite dishes is on the menu and it's good...
I dislike giving a bad review after only one experience. I've been here at least 5 times in the past 10 months... While the food is the only reason I come back, the experience I have with staff is another story.
You would think I'm walking in to look at 100k cars by the way they seem to judge. From all of my experiences here, it seems if your drink order doesn't consist of alcoholic beverages, then the service is an afterthought. I can only assume it's because they know the tab will be under 100 (for 2) and thus the tip won't be much and therefore, not worth the effort.
The last time I went, we had no silverware and had to ask for it after our food arrived. The waiter didn't come back once to ask how my dinner was or if we needed anything else. (more drinks, parmesan cheese, etc.) Which has been the 'norm" here. Really disappointing that this is the typical experience here.
If you're not ordering drinks, don't expect good service.
Lots of room for improvement.
