I would recommend you call ahead and ask when is the best time to come in. Usually weekends are busier and won't be as easy to go in without having someone else coming in constantly. She doesn't make appointments but let's you know when is a better time come in for example Tuesday afternoon etc. I went in during the week like she advised during a late afternoon and was helped right away. I put the dress on and let her know the length was all I needed fixed. She went ahead and started marking the dress. She tells you how much the alterations will cost until she is done marking for which some it could be an issue. I should have asked before too but it was my first time getting something altered. Next time i will ask for sure. I was short on time and wasn't able to shop around. My dress was made from chiffon which she informed me is more work. I payed $55 just for the length. I don't know if this was a fair price but I was satisfied with the end result.
