| - I absolutely love Christmas!! For me it's just a special time of year as some of my favorite childhood memories are about Christmas with my family. So this season brings back lots of memories of joy, family, food- especially food!
The Distillery District is already one of my favorite Toronto neighbourhoods to visit and even more so during Christmas. I especially love how the word "Christmas" is use so frequently here, it's not a taboo word or an offense to say and wish on folks. We celebrate Christmas in my beautiful Canada and people that don't like that can fuck off and die! But I want to talk about the nice environment at this place, because it really does feel like Christmas here, the decorations are amazing! Good job to all those who decorate this place, and the Christmas tree; what can I say about the Christmas tree! It's so big, so beautiful, so bright, so worth a good selfie with it.
The food of course is very good, the sweets are great, the poutine is always a must, the fried potato is cool, the schnitzel is great, and of course the apple cider. I find the best time to come here is during the day time as it is not as busy, however, the better performances and bands come on during the evening. My favorite is the Jazz bands on Friday nights, the Unforgettables played all my favorite Christmas songs. I really enjoyed their performance. I high recommend a visit out here, for the sounds, the sights, or the tastes there is something for everyone!
