First off, I went on Yelp to find my original review for Desert Pines and it is no longer up? I know I didn't delete it. I noticed that Desert Pines is a paying advertiser on your site... Hmm? What's up with that Yelp? Coincidence? I would wager it's not...
Anyway, I originally rated Desert Pines 3 stars. It's a decent course and they used to have a good driving range.
Since the new ownership took over, the range has steadily fallen apart. Tonight only 3 of the 30 self-teeing machines were in operation. That's right, 10% of their equipment was operational. Unfortunately this is the norm, not an exception. When you ask staff about or, they give you the standard "it's being addressed" response (I feel sorry for them always having to field the same questions from steady customers knowing they don't have any answer of substance for us).
Desert Pines used to be a great place to practice at a reasonable price ($100 for a 1300 ball range card). Now you're gambling coming here. If you have a range card like I do, you never know if you'll get some quality practice or of you'll leave frustrated.
ATTN Desert Pines: FIX THE RANGE! Show some pride in ownership. You'll never get anything other than a single star review as long as this place continues to be the abomination it has become.
