| - My husband and I recently stayed in Bellagio for our anniversary; we asked for a room on the fountain side, and the view was so wonderful. We LOVED it and it was just so romantic to watch! As far as the room itself goes, the decor and general condition of the room was on pretty outdated. The layout of the room was also just not great, we ended up dragging chairs in front of the window, as they have the sitting area of the room facing towards the bed. When you have the fountains outside the window?? The bed was nothing noteworthy, and the sheets had a weird smell. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and all of the drains were very clogged and drained incredibly slow. Also, you are not supposed to touch any of the items they have in the room; snacks, drinks and the mini-bar - they cost an arm and a leg and automatically get charged to you if you even move them, let alone eat them. They also have their mini fridge so stuffed full that you cannot place anything of your own in there. I would rate Bellagio 5-star for the view, 2 or 3-star for the room. If it's your first time to Vegas, and you want to see the fountain view in the evening, I would recommend the room - just do not expect to get your socks knocked off by the room itself.
