I have terrible tension headaches and had tried a few other establishments including a large chain but was very unimpressed with the quality of massage. Once I had a therapist that said she couldn't work on me because I was too tense and couldn't relax! Uh, that's why I was there.
I started researching other places and Massage Haven's Peoria location was nearby so I gave them a shot.
I have been going for a couple of years now and had been very satisfied with most of the massages there. I always go for the therapeutic massage.
I've probably seen two dozen different therapists, and I'll say all but two or three were very good and a few were amazing.
I am a member and massages are $35 for 1 hour (plus tip) and I usually go twice a month. My wife generally doesn't like massages but pulled a muscle in her hip and had been suffering in pain for a week and I convinced her to give it a shot and got a deep tissue massage for probably their best therapist, Buffie, who I've had the pleasure of having work on me twice now. My wife's pain went away and she feels good.
The only complaint I have is this place is very popular and it's sometimes difficult to get a massage the same day because they're usually fully booked, which is usually when I need it most. They do have another location in North Scottsdale but I think they need to expand.
Considering the price of their massages and he quality, it is no surprise they are so busy.
