  • I've been to a great many Cineplex cinemas, and I have to say that this is a pretty solid place. They have kiosks for you to pay for your tickets instead of (gasp) buying it from a cashier, and you go up the escalator to reach the theatre rooms. You're greeted with a huge area dedicated to buying popcorn, and they serve poptopia too! You pick up your own 3D Glasses and walk into whichever room you're supposed to be in. There is also a section dedicated for kid's birthday parties with Po the Panda stickers all over the windows. Silvercity has a pretty large selection of movies compared to most theatres, so I prefer coming here. The theatre is spacious and the chairs are comfy, plus you can remove the armrest if you wish. This location reaches your basic expectations- good sound system, high quality graphics, and finally they actually have Timeplay! For a while I couldn't find a theatre with Timeplay, which sucks because I like winning free Scene points. I like this cinema in particular because it's super close to the TTC (Eglinton) and also within a mall so that you can browse while waiting for your show to start. As well, Silvercity is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, so you can go eat lunch or dinner after the movie. Otherwise it's a standard Silvercity chain!
