| - She made my hair PURPLE! Dolce is about volume not quality. My first time there, the reservationist recommended Meela for color. She is totally unprofessional and cares only about making money! (She actually told me that she loves having an assistant because Dolce Salon allows DOUBLE BOOKING of timeslots, and she make more money this way).
She was in such a rush the whole time she kept repeating the same questions during our conversation. But worst of all, Meela made it purple when I asked for red, and then covered it up by saying, "it's not purple," when it is exactly that! I've dyed my hair on my own, and can honestly say that this is the worst my hair has looked since my perm in high school.
I should have known that it was going to be bad when I saw her hair - a hot mess that looked like she home-dyed it. Then she kept trying to sell me on a dye job I didn't want (highlights only on the bottom), and then just decided on something that I had never expressed interest in!
Her assistant Willow was worse than her - her short orange hair style looked like an 80's style, but not on purpose! She made me sit upright in the shampoo seats for 25 minutes to do my toning, and when I asked to move to a chair because my back hurt (it's for people laying down!) she actually said no! Twice! She said, "I'm almost done" with 20 minutes left!
Then the two worst colorists I've come across, Meela and Willow, actually made eyes and talked shit about my back complaint, thinking I wouldn't notice! It also took 3.5 hours for this terrible dye job that I will now have to fix at a real salon.
Dolce is a high volume salon more concerned about quantity and profits, than about quality hair care. Stay away and you will save time, money, and your hair.
