| - I had a massage here last night, I was not very pleased. I had a groupon, and so did the 2 other people waiting with me...You walk in and there is a table set up with a lap top and a mess a papers...then you walk in to the waiting area and there were some folding chairs and more tables set up with hand soaps for sell, hats for sale, and little crosses that my grandmother use to make...just odds and ends that they are selling, like the comment below stated "yard sale" that is what it screams. All the signs were handmade....looked like a grade school science fair...I was there with my boyfriend, we had a 90 minute in the couples room...we were greeted by the therapist, I had Derrick, which he looked really familiar to me, and to be honest he and Sara were talking at the same time and I actually thought he said his name was Eric. Anyway, we went back into the room..it was ok. The tables had "Mexican Blankets" on them and the pictures on the wall made no sense to Massage....it looked like someone went through there house and TJ Maxx and threw it all in this room. Derrick did an intake, which was pretty short, I told him where I wanted to focus..neck shoulders and back...with a medium to deep pressure...assuming he would be able to feel when to use deep and when to use medium. It started off ok, but when it was time for my problem areas he seemed to slack off...I am not sure if he was tired, or just didn't want to work anymore (we were the last massage) but he pretty much just went in circles on my back...at this point in time, I realized why he looked so familiar, he use to work at Massage Envy in South Park and I had him there once, and didn't care for his massage then, that was 2 or 3 years ago and he has not improved. The best thing about here was the Pumpkin Spice Lotion. Although at times I felt like I was swimming in it because he applied to much.
Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone....I do not feel any better then I did before I went into the massage. I get a good bit of massages, and know the difference between good and bad....This place is not even worth the group on money. It is a wash up of Massage Envy folks who decided to get together and open their own business....
