Vivace is conveniently located off the greenway, within walking distance from Carolina Medical Center. My brother and I walked here to celebrate my birthday after visiting my mom in the ICU last month. There's lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and would be a nice place to eat outside and people watch when it's warm outside like nowadays.
It's wasn't a busy Wednesday night. Our server was good, giving us enough time to review the menu. We split the Brussel Sprouts Antipasti. The portions are generous even for the appetizers. I loved the mix of sweet and savory with the apples, pecans, and smoked pancetta. Maybe a little over dressed with the butter but otherwise my favorite dish of the night. I had the Pappardelle as my entree and it was good, standard fare. Pasta could be a bit more al dente. Again, good portion size so I had enough to take home for a second meal. Overall it was an a-okay meal with a nice and quiet ambiance.
