I had a friend coming out of the hospital so I decided to order some meals from Schwans for her and her family. I called in my order and was told that would be delivered on a certain Monday between one and 3 o'clock. Weeks passed and I received word that she had in fact not received anything from Schwans, except some catalogs!? (A Schwans driver also showed up at my house with some catalogs even after I specifically told them I was not interested). When I found out my friend had not received her meals, I called Schwans immediately to find out what the heck happened and they were totally unhelpful. They were unapologetic about the zero service they provided and only said the order had been canceled and that they didn't know why it was canceled.And no one ever called me to tell me the order had been canceled or to follow up with me. They also did not offer any kind of compensation for what had happened. The whole experience was very negative and I will never order from Schwans again. I highly recommend that everyone avoid this poor excuse for a business.
