I was unimpressed with Dr. Debski at this animal hospital upon my initial visit with my puppy. He suggested that I go for the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine as well as get the 1-year versus the 3-year rabies shot, citing that dogs have less of an adverse reaction to the 1-year shot. As far as I have talked to my breeder and researched elsewhere, the kennel cough vaccine is not even effective in preventing dogs from getting the disease, nor is there a difference between the 1-year versus 3-year rabies vaccines except labelling requirements due to differing state laws. He also suggested that my 3.5 months old American Eskimo has may need surgery for vulvar fold dermatitis..............
On my way to finding another clinic - but then again, isn't this what most clinics do?
