I moved in with my fiancé to these apartments in the middle of his lease. If it were up to me I never would have chose these apartments to begin with. The area is terrible especially if you are more of the family stay at home type. I heard gun shots multiple nights. I never wanted to go out because there were always homeless people bothering me and it just felt plain sketchy. Besides the area i was unimpressed with the staff. They did not have friendly attitudes and are very unprofessional. When I first moved in one of them asked me personal questions like if my boyfriend was treating me right it was a weird question and it threw me of guard. I never felt comfortable with the staff there. The actual apartments are decent. They are upgraded and I will admit that although it is in a bad area I felt safe because of all the security there. They have a nice recreational room and gym. Not much good to say about them besides that. I never liked these apartments and I felt even worse about them after moving out. They hit us with a bill that was over 1,000 dollars. Plus kept our 500 dollars security deposit There was a cleaning fee for the carpets and a fee to replace the carpets. I understand replacing the carpets but why is there a cleaning fee for the carpets since they are already being replaced. We cleaned the apartment well and still we were still hit with various cleaning fees. The biggest fee we noticed that did not make any sense was the illegal pet fee. We have never had a pet. Our friend had a dog over at the apartment before we knew that pets were not allowed to visit for a couple of hours. I do not believe we should have to pay 250 dollars for having a dog over for a couple of hours. Despite trying to speak with them about this they refused to at least reduce the fees a little or make a feasible payment arrangement. Nancy told me that her manager will only agree to a 90 day payment of 400 dollars a month. Even if we were both working 400 dollars a month would be a lot to ask for.I am disappointed with the way we have been treated by the staff there. We have been bullied with statements like "we have pictures of you and a dog" and threats of being sent to collections when are clearly trying to work with them and get our bill paid. no one has been willing to work with us on reducing the fees or at least having smaller payments. We have Made claims with the Better business bureau and Nevada Apartment Association. I definitely would not recommend these apartments
