So much fun, you'll end up all of a sudden thinking you want to go kayaking.
Hard not to impulse buy. Everything is so creative and interesting, and seems SUPER important to have --- you never realized how badly you need a funnel to pee like a dude.
The staff are super friendly and enthusiastic. Change rooms were straight-forward - no one "manning" them, so you just sort of walk in and try stuff on as you please. In the shoe area, they have a mini-hill so you can see how it is to actually hike in the shoes before you buy them.
I'm not a fan of "club membership" stores (I guess because this is a 'co-op', so you pay), especially strange since they don't verify who you are, so as long as you know SOMEONE who is a member, you're good. But I reallllllly didn't like the bag situation at the check-out counter. We didn't have bags on us, and you are buying BIG purchases there....and all they have it $.95 "reusable" bags that are big enough to fit ONE hiking boot. So you have to really pay a lot for bags if you need them.
