Kitsuné Espresso Bar just opened up a second location in the developing Griffintown neighborhood, hidden at the intersection of Ottawa and Ann street. My husband and I would have missed it if it weren't for Yelp informing us of its existence, nestled on the first floor of a newly built condo building.
Kitsuné is among the top third wave coffee shops in Montreal and their second branch is no exception. Their latte and espresso are always top notch, a great blend which my husband and I both adore. The service provided by the two barista present on the day we visited was courteous and efficient.
It's worth mentioning this Kitsuné has a very tastefully decorated interior (the wallpaper is gorgeous). It also offers a great view of Montreal's skyline as the intersection it is at leads to an open parking lot next to Bonaventure Highway, the city's beautiful buildings standing proudly behind it. Sipping a coffee with such a view is definitely a bonus I enjoyed!
To sum up: A hidden little gem in the up and coming Griffintown, great espresso and good service, with a marvelous view of the city. I'm sold!
