ALWAYS check the meat!
Sometimes they leave it on the shelves for days after expiration. From what I gather they make their cuts probably once a week and then leave it all on the shelf until the end of the week and by then it has almost all expired or is about to so you sometimes see whole shelves full of expired/soon to be expired meats that are probably just thrown away and then written off in their books.
What a waste of food that could have been used to feed people who need it.
