  • This time of year, Pittsburgh goes crazy with fish fries. And we've been to our share over the years. There are several closer to us than this one. But it's worth the drive. Basic fried cod on a bun. But the fish is great. Cooked perfectly with no mystery oil aftertaste. And on a big soft, made in Swissvale bun. The menu includes a nice piece of baked cod if you prefer. Exceptional halushki, and the slaw and mac'n cheese are solid. Cash or credit cards. Fridays during Lent.
