  • No sale! Drove to their presentation site at the Polo Towers Sales Center on South Las Vegas Blvd and we took care of our commitment to attend a 90- to 120-min presentation. We were glad to have a morning reservation but when we got there we were going to be moved to an afternoon appointment. We weren't going to change to an afternoon slot so they accommodated us. They provided complimentary breakfast of scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and sausage. They also had muffins and mixed fruits. We listened to the 45-60 min long presentation by John. He was great and definitely the right marketer for Diamond Resorts, very passionate about his job. Oh yeah, he used the sh-- words a few times but he was effective in proving his point. He connected well with the guests with humor and interactive presentation. Unfortunately, we couldn't commit to spending more $$ because we already belong to another competitor resort. Walter was very nice and understanding, though, well, obviously he was disappointed but was gracious about the no sale. All in all, we received all the money we spent back when we originally purchased this deal from the Sacramento Banana Festival in August 2015 + $1 + 4-days and 3-nights accommodation at the Stratosphere in exchange for 120-minutes of participation. Setting up this vacation getaway was a little challenging, though, because we were playing phone tag most of the time every time we wanted to schedule a vacation. In many occasions there were not enough presentations scheduled and so couldn't book the days we wanted. Lesson learned: Do not purchase this deal from a fair or festival. Those solicitors are well trained and they will sell, offer, or sweet talk you to buying the vacation deal. We lucked out in getting more for what we paid for. When you're at your presentation appointment at the sales center keep an open mind, listen, then just say NO (unless you are convinced of the deal)! Collect your gift then go on your merry way... we are happy with our current resort membership... the units are much more beautiful and booking is no hassle. Review #0454
