  • Southwest Data Systems installed my video security system here in the Phoenix metro area. I had four companies bid on my project, including the big name ones that are advertised everywhere. I didn't know how many cameras I needed, what type of system would work best, and I wasn't sure how I could get my TV to show the camera views (my wife really wanted this feature). I didn't go with the lowest bidder - I looked for the best value and the most knowledgeable company who took my personal situation into mind. Nick Vara of Southwest Data Systems carefully looked over my property and sited the cameras. He drew me a detailed plan, and he took the time to explain his rationale for camera placements. I am very confident in my new system - Nick taught me the most likely places perpetrators would attempt to enter my home, and he showed me many ways to protect my property. I remain convinced that Nick really takes pride in his work, and he isn't just in business to sell a person more equipment and services than they really need. Southwest Data Systems installed a very modern system. Nick and his team taught me how to view my cameras from my iphone. He installed modern cabling so that I can update to even more modern equipment in the future (if and when that equipment is more cost-effective). Overall, I am super pleased with this company and my choice of Nick's team over all of the other bids I received. My advice - give Nick a shot at being your security system go-to person. You will be glad you did.
