  • Wow, what happened to the rest of negative reviews? I agree with the other comment. Noel was good at first, too bad it didn't last. As a renter you're in good hands coz they won't charge you a thing for anything you damage. That's what happened to us. As a home owner, BEWARE! We handed the house to homelovers brand new! No one lived at the house ever. Everything was new and clean! Even did new landscaping. -Very unorganized and everyone just kept leaving or getting fired. After our first tenant left and was told that everything looks good I trusted their word. Much to my surprise when the second tenant asked for things to be fixed. Ruined door, missing screen on windows, pee and stains on the carpet, etc. They apologized and we paid the bill. Then the second tenant moves out, only receipt they had on file was a $25 carpet bill which looked like one of those receipts you buy from officemax. $25 bucks to clean a whole house? No mention of any damages and the security was used as last months rent. Thought everything was fine, NOPE! Before the 2nd tenant moved in we put new blinds for all the windows and vertical for the sliding door. Here we go again, 3rd tenant and viola more damages that was never noted on any move out inspection. Now I'm pissed coz we're stuck again paying for the damages done by the tenant. Goes downhill from that point on...... -We had to deal with so many different people that everytime I asked why they didn't charge the tenant each person says "Sorry have no idea I wasn't here yet". I got every email from each and every person. Good thing I did coz I always had to prove what was said by the previous person. Still have those emails as a reminder to myself of the mistake I did by sticking with this company for almost 3 years. -Finally the last property mgr we had was rude and unprofessional. The words I would rather use is something I cannot use here so I am being nice with this review and sticking with the facts. The last tenant violated HOA rules and never fixed the issue. Everytime I told the property mgr he'll say it's taken care of. Guess what, after ov er 2 months and several notices and fines the problem was obviously never taken care of. This person decides to tell me that they dont babysit tenants. I couldn't believe it. Had to use the contract for him mto finally do something about it. 3 months by thsi time and they think I'm unreasonable. -Person in charge of inspection calls me up while I'm at work to tell me that I should be thankful our house isn't completely trashed like others. REALLY??? I should be happy it's trashed but at least not completely???? We must not live in the same planet coz every place I know you have to return the house the same manner you received it. If you damaged something you have to pay for it. -After a bunch of back and forth with these people I finally said we're not renewing our contract. Again, they think I am being too dramatic and should reconsider. Said NOPE! I didn't want to renew the contract with them or the tenant. I am glad we didn't. Just gotta go with the 3 strikes rule. Besides, why would I deal with someone who doesn't care about my property or my worries. I shouldn't even be worrying, that's why I hired a property mgr. Sorry for the long review folks this is already a short version but hope this helps some homeowners out there who wouldn't want to experience the same thing. Brand new house trashed to a tune of $10,000. Homelovers didn't do the last walkthrough, THANK GOD! We were able to collect our last months rent plus deduct from the security what the tenants ruined. Of course we couldn't charge them for the rest of the stuff the 2 previous tenants ruined. So after getting estimates we had to pay $10k to get the house rent ready again. The only pro here is Lynda Santini. She was nice and did her job. Was never disrespectful or rude. If only they'll hold everybody else to that standard then maybe there's hope for homelovers. Have to be honest so here's the pros and cons of hiring this company. Good luck if you're a home owner. I'd do more research. As far as the fees, it is HIGH and there's a bunch of different fees. I am happy with our new property mgr and we paid less than 50% of the fees that homelovers charge.
