| - A throwback to the days when the indie garage had to compete with the dealer, which meant that they had to be able to do all the stuff the dealer could do, everything from oil changes and simple tuneups, to the serious stuff like tranny flushes, AC, engine swaps, the whole 9 yards. Lead mechanic David writes for the Toronto Star and headlines for Rogers TV, so he really knows his stuff. Plus his hobby is fixing cars on his own, to swap and sell, so chances are, if there is way to fix your car on the cheap this guy will find it. They also have an arrangement with Start Auto downtown -- where the owner is a PhD in Electrical Engineering -- so even if it is something major, chances are they can figure it out. Highly recommended, very old school, shops like this are hard to find.
