| - We walked in and no one was around about five minutes later the employee came out from the back/kitchen to take our order - sounded like she was cleaning up so we waited patiently. As she was walking towards the register; at the same time we approach the counter, the phone rings and she picks it up. No worries, as I thought, she was going to place them on hold and help us. NOPE! Didn't happen, and she took the entire phone order while my kids and I just stood there looking F$c%3n p-off. Bad customer etiquette, but then when she took our order super friendly that is total BS! Well, needless to say it took 15 minutes just to place our order from the time we walked into the front door. Fuming!
I get it. it is a small shop just starting out, but they need to prioritize with the customers that is right in front of them, especially if we were there before the phone rings. Hopefully they'll get their act together and if she was the owner then I hope she reads this as this town is all about service and great food.
Inside is small with 9 bar seats along the wall. Decor is ok nothing special. I cannot recommend this for big family to dine in, but to go order - yes.
We ordered 2 beef and onion bowl and added green onions. The bowls were very tasty and the meat reminded me of Yoshinoya but in a smaller portion. 3 stars
Ordered 3 bento boxes (Beef and Onion, Pork Ribs cutlets, and Eel) and they all came with a salad, bacon and quail eggs, sausage, and package seaweed. My family said it tasted like most Japanese place we visit - nothing special 3 stars.
I will probably try this place again and hope the phone rings as I approach to see if the employee thinking towards customer service change before I make my final decision. Currently, I'm only rating the food, if I were to generalize the entire review they would have gotten a 2 or fewer stars instead.
