  • I don't know what is wrong with the CVS pharmacies in this area (specifically this one & the one on 7th street & Union Hills) but something has to change. The pharmacists & pharm techs really need to learn the difference between "policy" & "federal law". It may be a good idea to brush up on the law so you're not constantly breaking it by blocking patient care & metaling with peoples health, lives & well-being. The one on 7th street is so short staffed in the pharmacy that they allow the regular untrained staff to work back in the pharmacy, not to mention letting inexperienced interns run wild without supervision. Funny that my prescriptions have been "lost" & tampered with since I moved over here & chose that as my new location. Have all the proof needed as well as CVS pharmacy staff admitting to being aware of the tampering issue. So since I've been using CVS my entire life without issue until this, I decide to chalk it up to a bad apple location & go to this location who then refused to fill my VALID prescription, even AFTER my doctor contacted them. Saying that it's at "managers discretion"... No you see that's NOT how this works. The doctors write the prescription, you guys fill them. Point blank. As long as I'm not allergic to the medication or harm to myself would result in you dispensing it, you're violating my civil rights. Who trains you guys? I mean seriously. Have fun battling lawsuit after lawsuit if you continue to remain ignorant to the state & federal laws you're governed by. Learn how to do your job correctly or get into a different profession because this CLEARY is not the line of work you should be in. My attorney is going to have a field day with this. Brand new seals rip off smooth, & are "tamper evident" but with all the glue added back on there I knew I was going to be short before I even counted them! Definitely make your pharmacist count your meds in front of you BEFORE leaving the premises. It has been confirmed that there are NOT cameras covering the pharmacy where these meds are handled. Only by the registers & windows. Time to start investigating internally CVS!
