| - Vinny first cut my hair over 8 years ago when he worked for a larger salon. I've had short hair the whole time and he knows how to cut and style short hair for a woman. I always feel my look is fresh, young (but not too young) and feminine. Vinny does not rush the cut, has great technique and knows what he is doing. I followed Vinny when he left the larger salon and set up Salon Di Vita with his wife Angi.
The salon is clean, bright, in a great location, warm, imtimate and personable. I love that's it's not a huge salon with dozens of chairs and stylists that come and go through a revolving door. Vinny and Angi love what they do and it shows. I always looked forward to my monthly salon appointments not only for the great cut, but for the fun chats I always had with Vinny and Angi. I always felt like family.
Alas, I had to give up Salon Di Vita when my family and I moved out of state! I am on my third stylist in the new town. I think I appreciate even more now how good a stylist Vinny was/is when I see how crappy my hair has been cut--choppy, uneven, not blended and texturized right! Ugh! No one cuts hair as good as Vinny. I joke with my husband about flying to Arizona monthly for haircuts. I swear I would if I were a celebrity. Or better yet, I'd pay Vinny to fly to me!
I will be in town in a few weeks for a visit and I will definitely be dropping by Salon Di Vita. It will be great to see Vinny and Angi again and get a great cut.
