  • As much as I hate to write this review, it's much needed now. I have been going here for almost 3 years, since before it went under new management and I honestly loved it, but now it's just become less than a special nail salon :( They are always very busy which is great but once the quality of the work starts to change then that's where I have a problem. I have been trying to stay loyal but today I tried a new salon and WOW the difference was incredible, the quality of work, the detail, the time taken was very different and eye opening... At AK nails they are just rushing to get you done and move on to the next client, they are not double checking their work to see if they filed your nails correctly or if they painted them right or even if they are cutting all your excess cuticle. I spent $50 dollars on a gel manicure and regular pedicure so that my gel can come right off 3 days later. Un acceptable!!! They are more busy talking to one another and not paying attention to their work. I mean, it's okay to chat with your co-workers but when you haven't looked down at my hand the whole time and your just filing like whatever then that's just not cool. I'm sad about this review but I work hard for my money and I expect them to deliver quality work. They are right around the corner from my house but I will no longer be returning to their salon.
