  • I have been attending salsa classes here for the last 3 years off and on. I fist signed up through Groupon because there was a special price advertised for the entire 7 week term and I have to state I am extremely happy that I did. I have been hooked ever since and recently just participated in their winter ball as a performer of a Bachata Routine. Soul2Sole and Steps both join forces each winter to put on a dinner and show type of event. The event this past year sold out early with over 300 people who attend for dinner and another 100 who came at 10 for the social dancing until 2am When I started here I began my lessons with the owner/founder of this company - Jocelyn. She is amazing at what she does and truly makes you feel welcome and part of the soul2sole family. She is young and full of energy, I can also say that for all of the other instructors I have had the pleasure to learn from. Not only are the instructors very upbeat and easy going, there are a tone of student helpers who also attend the classes to assist anyone that may need help and they too make you feel like part of the family. They have expanded their locations to all area's of the city. I personally attend classes in Markham but they offer classes in Toronto, Mississauga, as well as Vaughan. I recently attended the performance practice classes in the Toronto Studio which was a nice change. Soul2Sole Latin Dance company tries their best to set up multiple events throughout the year to practice what we learn in the studios out on on the streets. They set up Salsa party nights at various Latin Night clubs, studio socials at the studios, summer bbq's and previously mentioned the winter ball/gala. They also set up studio time for practice throughout the term, usually is the same day each week to practice what was taught in class. The practice time is free to students enrolled in a class. I would highly recommend this dance school for all your Latin Dancing Needs!! Also they are great for private lessons as well if you plan to have a special dance on your special day!!
