| - Winco is my primary spot to pick up protein for my Sunday dinner during football season. Aside from myself, I have to feed about 5 other guys with well over a combined weight of 1100 pounds. I wouldn't call anything top shelf or prime, but everything I've bought from there has been satisfactory and haven't had complaints from my buddies. But of course by the time dinner rolls around they had been drinking beer since 10 AM and would probably eat dryer lint if you served it to them.
I've bought chuck roasts, rib roasts, strips, sirloins, beef tenderloins, short ribs, pork loins, St. Louis style ribs, baby back ribs, sausages, hams, chicken breasts, whole turkeys, dungeness crab, shrimps, and scallops. The biggest winners are always the short ribs and St. Louis Style ribs.
Their bulk section, cheeses, and breads also have selections that are above average. Nothing gourmet, but easy on the bank account. There is pretty much everything we need there with competitive prices. Winco is convenient for us and we'll continue to make our weekly trips.
