  • We have taken our shih-tzu here multiple times to get groomed and they have nicked her twice now on her paw. The first time they cut her, they called and were apologetic. She was very nervous and her paw was tender and bloody. They offered us the next visit free and a discount on the visit after that. We were obviously upset and could not afford to take her to the vet to ensure infection was not present and get her properly patched up. Because of this, we requested that they pay for the resulting vet visit. They did not want to pay for it, but ended up obliging us, which we sincerely appreciated. After talking with staff members, we felt comfortable enough to bring her back. She has been groomed multiple times after this incident and everything has been okay, except for yesterday. We got yet another call that she has been nicked again, this time worse than the first. Needless to say, the old adage rings true: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. We should never have trusted our baby with this facility after they nicked her the first time. Please use caution!
