| - Avoid this salon for weddings!
My wedding party and I had the worst experience at this salon on my wedding day.
My stylist (Lolita) was lovely and did a great job on my hair and make-up (the only reason this isn't one star) but the five others in my group had terrible experiences.
My sister was talked down to and made fun of, all bc she didn't like the Jersey Shore "bump" the stylist put in her hair. All of us thought it looked awful but we were pretty polite about it, bc it was my wedding day. I've never experienced a more defensive stylist. You had better love what she does or you're in for some serious backlash.
I found out later that the same stylist later referred to my sister as an "idiot" multiple times...to our other sister! So professional and classy!
I was a stressed out, nervous wreck when I left, not exactly how you want to feel right before your wedding, especially after visiting a salon....which we thought would be fun.
The members of my group getting pedicures said there was a lot of non-pc political talk by their technicians (calling Hillary names, etc) and even animosity between them (as they sat side by side doing pedicures)
There is so much more I could write, but hopefully you get the picture... we tried to speak with the manager after but he kept reminding us that the main stylist in question has had great reviews. Well, that changes things then! (Even though we learned she was new) He did offer my sister more services but her first experience was so awful, she didn't want to spend more time there. I just wanted her money refunded but he insisted that wouldn't solve anything.
I hate to leave a bad review, but really this place was bad... unless you go in just to see Lolita, I would steer clear!!! I wish I had looked at these reviews prior to going in.
