So glad I discovered Brass Monkey today. Go around the back off the alley, parking is tight. When I arrived Thomas was taking the time to help a couple of little kids with their bikes. He then quickly attended to my problem. I wanted to have a bike repaired that was damaged in a collision with a car. Thomas examined the bike and quickly saw the problem. He began looking for a used part to replace the damaged one. He had to go find the part but quickly called to say the work was done. He also put air in the tires and took the bike on a test ride. The price was more than fair. Thomas and Mike are very friendly and know what they are doing. They also have a great selection of vintage cruisers, fixies, racers and even a tandem. If you wear spandex and cleats I would go somewhere else but if you grind it out on your Huffy every day to get to work or just bop around the neighborhood, this is the place for fast, fair and friendly service. No "bike shop" attitude. Highly Recommended!
