  • Overall, this practice has friendly, professional staff and the wait is typically not bad, 20-35 minutes in the lobby and waiting room combined. We primarily like seeing Dr. Ravi for our toddler. She listens, provides good feedback and is compassionate and friendly. Dr. Osborne is also a doctor we enjoy seeing, as is the on-call doctor on Saturday's, who's name escapes me. One thing that is troubling to me, is that they don't tell you when your child will need a well-visit next. For example, when I was a new mom I didn't know I needed to take baby in at 3 months, 6 months, etc. Now I know to ask... it would be easy enough to give parents a chart/ card with this information or just make sure the doctor is mentioning this or that the scheduling staff is letting parents know. We love that we can get same day appointments and that they are open Saturday's, a huge plus for the wellbeing of our children. For our son's 2 week checkup, Dr. Ravi was not available and we saw Dr. Vasudevan. There was a personal and medical choice we made with our son that was not in his believe system and he was very unkind. He said that our son, "...could even die". Any new mom would have been deeply disturbed by this, especially those suffering from ppd. It's just incredibly heartless to add to the fears moms already face with new babies. Not to mention that as my husband said, the doctor's scare tactic was also invalid given our situation and medical evidence, it was an extreme case escenario not even worth mentioning to a postpartum mom. This doctor, knows as Dr. V, seems to have no compassion for parents. No parents what's to hear that his baby could die. We all make the best choices we can for our children and should not be subjected to a doctor scaring us for the life of our baby.
