  • I was excited when I heard about this place because it's rare to find a shop that specializes in only piercings. My husband and I went to The Piercing Shop on a Sunday afternoon to get his ears pierced. The piercer was very nice and knowledgeable, and was very welcoming, though we do not exactly look like your typical piercing shop customers. He pierced my husband's ears quickly and they are perfectly even, and he was surprised by how little pain there was. While we were there, I asked if he could replace my nose stud with a hoop that I brought with me, and he was very helpful-- he offered to snip the nose bone so it wouldn't hurt me on the way out, and he spent a lot of time making sure my hoop was straight and looked good, even though I didn't buy it there. They provided a very thorough after-care sheet with lots of useful tips, which is much nicer than most places, where they tell you what to do and you forget half of it by the time you get home. I highly recommend The Piercing Shop for any piercings-- even earlobes.
