  • This organization can be wonderful, when you're there for an appointment. The front of the house staff, the aides to the doctor, and the doctor herself are very professional and timely. All of that changes when you call in with a situation. The staff are good at listening to your concern, but that's where it stops. I'm not sure, if they give messages to the doctor, if she ignores them or asks one of the staff to call back, but nothing gets back to the patient. It has happened to me 3 different times in the last 6 months. In July, I went to the the medicare prescription black hole, because of a diabetic medicine I was taking that the doctor had prescribed. The pharmacist at Walgreens, suggest 2 other medications with similar ingredients as alternatives. The medication I was taking cost $85.00 a month, once in the black hole it went to almost $300 a month. The alternative medicines, were around $90. a month, even in the black hole. I called from the store and talked to one of her staff, who was very detailed even asking me to spell the names of the alternative meds. She told me that I wouldn't hear back until the next morning. 2 days went by and no response, so I sent a fax to the doctor's office ( in the past she would acknowledge that fact that she got and usd the excuse that one of her staff was suppose to call me), explaining the whole situation again, for which I receive an acknowledgement that the fax had been received, again nothing. In that fax i told the staff and the doctor to cancel my September appointment, if I couldn't get a simple response. Today I got a call from one of her staff members telling me my September appointment had to be changed. I responded for the third time about my situation and asked for a response before I rescheduled the appointment. That was this morning and I received no return call. The same situation has happened to me 2 other times, one of which the doctor asked me to call after I had seen her. If you can limit you dealings with the doctor to only office visits, or if you have the time to make an appointment every time you have a question, then this doctor is perfect for you. If you need some type of response from a call into the practice, my experience, this practice can't or won't do that.
