  • this is a cool classic bar to go to, it's the kind of place where you can go by yourself and meet good people. and the type of people who go here are awesome and from various parts of the country. one night i was playing pool with a man from germany, austrailia, tennesee, and new york. it was a great night, and the bar tenders are all awesome. some people have said that the bartender wes is kind of a grumpy lady but she's been there for 30 years and has paid her dues. i think she gets a bad rep. for being mean but i think she just doesn't care for idiotic drunk people who cause problems. i'v never had any problems with her. but besides that the place is cool as a fan, and if your from out of town then this is the place to check out in downtown phx, they have the cheapest drink prices and has an awesome atmosphere. with that being said, the best days to go if your looking to shake it is on fri, sat, and especially tuesday after about 9 or 10 pm is when it get's bumping and they have a dj there as well and really legit. then the more chill relax days that are good is sunday and monday when they have free pool all day.
