The dresses:
Most showed significant wear and were VERY outdated (think 90's style dresses). Avoid the clearance area because those dresses are even worse (more wear & further outdated). Yes they do show pictures of newer dresses but trust me those are few and far between.
The price:
non-clearance started at $400 most in the regular area were $800+ (they were not at 1/2 off but less than 1/2 off retail price).
The customer service:
I came in without an appointment when it was moderately busy. They told me it would be 30 minutes for an open room and it took a little less than that. The workers were not very attentive or helpful. Expect your helper to be running around helping others even though you have an appointment with them.
The building:
I was not a fan of there not being more viewing areas with mirrors. They put my mom with two other people which I did not like (why would we want to share our experience with strangers?!). I believe they have 3 mirrored areas (in the whole store!) to look at the gown.
The BAD:
I decided on putting a gown on hold because I thought that I had fallen in love with it. It was the third dress I had ever tried on and I think the only reason I liked it was because it looked a lot better than the two dresses I tried on in that store already (outdated).
I went to Suzanne's and was not impressed ($$$). Then I went to the Bridal Outlet ($) right by Suzanne's a few days later not realizing it was the same company. I found a dress at the Bridal Outlet that blew my dress on hold out of water (made my Brilliant Bridal hold look like a dress from Walmart vs Bloomingdale's).
WARNING ABOUT HOLD CREDIT: I decided to go back to Brilliant Bridal to use my hold credit on a veil. Unfortunately the veil that I fell in love with they wouldn't let me apply my credit towards! I told them they said that the hold credit can be used on anything in the store. Not so much. Now I still have a hold credit there but might not ever use it. Yes it was not that much ($54) but it still makes me mad that they didn't keep their promise when they told me I could use it on ANYTHING in the store.
