  • This happened about six years ago, but we thought we'd post a review of our experience. We took our cat Domino to the Bay Cat Hospital because she'd been losing weight. We explained that Domino was not eating, had been vomiting, and expressed concern that she might have a tumour. Dr. Kolhatkar performed a cursory exam, looked at her teeth and declared that all Domino needed was a few teeth removed. We paid over $600 for the procedure, but Domino kept losing weight. We took her back to the Bay Cat Hospital two weeks later and saw Dr. Chow. After palpating Domino's abdomen, Dr. Chow found a large tumour on her stomach. We received the wrong diagnosis from Dr. Kolhatkar and paid hundreds of dollars for a completely unnecessary procedure which caused our cat needless suffering. We were taken advantage of at a difficult time and feel that the first vet was incompetent as she could have found the tumour if she'd performed a more in-depth exam. Two weeks later our beloved Domino died at home.
